ELECTRO TECHNICAL OFFICER

ETO is a specialized 4-months residential course designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge for a successful career as a Electro Technical Officer in the Merchant Navy. This course combines academic learning with practical training to ensure that graduates are well-prepared for the demands of the maritime sector. Affiliated with the Indian Maritime University (IMU) and approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (Govt. of India). This course is structured to provide initial familiarization with ship board systems, equipments and machineries involved in the operation of the vessels. graduates are qualified to work as electro technical officer (ETO) on ships of all sizes and types, including cargo vessels, tankers, passenger vessels, cruise and offshore vessels.

ELIGIBILITY

Passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics with minimum 55% marks.
Minimum 50% marks in English in 10th/12th standard.
Passed 4-year Degree with 60% marks in electrical engineering electronics engineering, electronics and telecommunication engineering, electronics and instrumention engineering only. The Degree courses must have recognized by any state or central government or the AICTE.
Age: 18-25 (Years)
Candidates seeking admission to this course must be medically fit and need to produce a certificate of Medical Fitness.
